Ladakh Explorer — Leh, Nubra & Pangong
5 nights / 6 daysLadakh
Overview
Ladakh needs to be done carefully, not heroically. This itinerary is built around proper acclimatisation — a genuinely easy first day in Leh, monasteries on day two, and only then the high passes. Inner-line permits, an experienced mountain driver and an oxygen cylinder in the vehicle are all included, because at 5,000 metres those aren't extras.
Day-wise itinerary

Fly into Leh (3,500 m). Full rest day: hydrate, short walk to Leh market and Shanti Stupa at sunset only if you feel good.

Questions we get about this trip
Will I get altitude sickness?
Most guests feel mild breathlessness on day one — that's why day one is a rest day, non-negotiable. We carry oxygen in the vehicle and know the medical facilities on every route.
Can this start from Srinagar by road?
Yes — we run a Srinagar–Kargil–Leh road variant (2 extra days) that acclimatises you more gradually. Ask us for that itinerary.
