Why Yusmarg
Yusmarg is the closest true meadow to Srinagar — under two hours door to grass — which makes it the perfect half-day or lazy-day trip. The Doodh Ganga ('milk river') froths white over boulders below the meadow, ponies graze against a wall of pines, and a short forest walk reaches the small, still Nilnag lake.
What we arrange
Private cab day trips with a stop at Charar-e-Sharief shrine en route, pony arrangements at fair fixed rates for the Doodh Ganga and Nilnag trails, and picnic lunches for families.

Yusmarg pairs beautifully with Doodhpathri for a two-meadow day if you start early. In winter it becomes a quiet snowfield — bring proper shoes and we'll check the road that morning.
