Why Pahalgam

Pahalgam sits where the Lidder river comes down from the mountains, about two hours from Srinagar past saffron fields and apple orchards. It is the base for Aru valley, Betaab valley and Chandanwari — the three local sightseeing points — and the starting camp of the Amarnath Yatra.

What we arrange

Hotels from riverside cottages to full resorts, local union taxis for the three-valley circuit (outside vehicles are not permitted on those roads — we pre-book so rates are fixed), pony rides to Baisaran meadow, and trout-fishing permits in season.

Good to know

Keep one full day for the valleys; rushing all three into half a day is the most common itinerary mistake we fix for guests.
