Why Sonamarg
Sonamarg — the “meadow of gold” — is the last major stop on the Srinagar–Leh highway before the Zoji La pass. The Thajiwas glacier hangs above the meadow and is reachable by pony or a two-hour walk.
What we arrange
Day trips from Srinagar with a stop at the Sindh river viewpoints, pony hire at fixed rates for the glacier, and onward planning for guests continuing to Ladakh by road.
Good to know
The road closes in heavy snow between roughly November and April; check with us before planning a shoulder-season visit.
