Why Warwan
Warwan is the valley trekkers whisper about. You climb out of the Breng valley past Kokernag, crest Margan Top at roughly 3,900 metres — a pass with views that empty the memory card — and descend into a river valley where villages like Inshan still live largely by season and herd. No hotels chains, no cafés; just the Marwah river, walnut trees and mountains on every horizon.
What we arrange
4×4 transport over Margan Top, basic guesthouse/homestay stays arranged through people we know in the valley, and route planning for trekkers using Warwan as the corridor toward Kishtwar or the Kashmir Great Lakes extensions.
Good to know
This is an expedition-flavoured trip, not a resort weekend — power and network are intermittent, and the pass road is seasonal. That is exactly its point. Two nights minimum to do it justice.
