Why Doodhpathri
Doodhpathri is the day trip most tourists miss. An hour and a half southwest of Srinagar in Budgam district, it is a wide, silent meadow where the Shaliganga river runs so white over the stones that locals named it the valley of milk.
What we arrange
Private day trips from Srinagar with a driver who knows the Tangnar and Palmaidan meadows beyond the main point, plus kahwa and lunch arrangements — there are few restaurants, so we plan food ahead.
Good to know
There is no hotel infrastructure here; it is strictly a day trip, which is exactly why it stays quiet.
